YUSCO and Tang Eng to hike price again this month - 19 Mar, 2010
It is reported that Yieh United Steel Corporation and Tang Eng are going to hike their prices for the second half of this month by around USD 158 per tonne, driven by LME nickel price at peak of USD 22,300 per tonne in the beginning of last week.

However, the steel market is concerned that the level of price rise could be shrunk with the nickel price down to USD 21,750 per tonne in the end of last week.

So far the stainless steel market is keeping stable, but is not as hot as the price hike of nickel. Most manufacturers believe the demand for stainless steel will increase due to strong auto and electronic appliance industries in China recently.
