| Taiwanese slab import prices from Brazil surges - 18 Mar, 2010 | ||

It is reported that the slab import prices from Brazil to Taiwan have increased due to the iron & coal mine prices sharply adjusted. Currently the slab price is be quoted at USD 630 per tonne, up by USD 30 per tonne than previous ones. The global price of slab in the second quarter of 2010 would rapidly soar because its spot is in short supply.
