Feng Hsin to drop rebar and section prices - 21 Aug, 2008
Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron and Steel has announced to cut domestic rebar and section prices again by TWD 2,000 per tonne this week.
The company will keep the scrap purchasing price unchanged this week. The move is brining the company’s rebar price to about TWD 26,500 per tonne and the new offer price of section steel came to TWD 27,500 per tonne to TWD 27,700 per tonne.
Market participants believed that the price is reaching the bottom to lure some buyers back in.
